Tennis

The Scribner girl’s tennis team finished their season this weekend by placing 2nd in the Clark/Floyd Tournament. Claire Meyer placed 3rd in number one singles. Lily Meyer placed 1st in number two singles. Maci Crone placed 1st  in number three singles. Sierra Zamorano and Janai Gonzalez placed 5th in number one doubles. And Brooklyn Allen and Anna Walton placed 5th in the number two doubles. The girl’s finished their season with a record of 12-2. Great Season Ladies! The end of the season party will be this Tuesday, after school until 5. Please meet in the cafeteria.

 

Football

Reminder from Coach Cruse…RISE AND ROAR Scribner football players…the Panther football Spring Mini-Camp is today through Thursday right after school 4:00 – 6:00…all 6th and 7th graders who will be playing this fall should attend.  Wear gym shoes/cleats, shorts/sweats and a t-shirt. This is a free camp and a chance to get a head start on next season. Go Panthers!

 

Yearbooks

There are fewer than 50 yearbooks available for purchase! Make sure you reserve yours today with an order form from the office. The price is $36. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis once they arrive.

 

Intramurals

5th and 6th grade Intramurals,

Lace those basketball shoes up one more time.  This week we are playing 3 on 3 basketball.  Get your team together and see who is the best in Hoopville.  We will play on Wednesday, meet in the gym.

 

Staff Person of the Month

SMS PTO would like to recognize Mrs. Denman as April’s Staff Person of the Month.

Mrs. Denman is described as very caring, super kind and brave.  She makes a difference at Scribner and makes it a better place.

Mrs. Denman will be receiving a gift card from Target.

service and exemplary character.

 

Library

7th and 8th graders please check the list on the library doors to see if you have books out that need to be returned.  If you don’t have the book any longer please go in the library and let Mrs. Meunier know.  Remember, any student paying off their fees in full between now and the end of the year will earn a treat.

 

Campus Life

Campus Life meets on Tuesdays after school until 5:00 in Presentation Room A.  It’s not too late to join in on the fun.
