  Student Spotlight

 6th grader Mya Flannery. Mya is always willing to try challenging work. She is committed to doing her best and inspires others to follow.


 Attention Please. Your Panther Girls Track team are Clark/Floyd Champions. The girls won the eight team meet by one point over the team on the hill. Yes, the girls are Clark/Floyd Champions! Turning in outstanding performances were the winning 4 by 200 relay team of Addison Ruiz, Sarah Minton, LaNijha Rodgers, and Janee Powell. Sarah Johanning and Dakota Minton both placed in the hurdles. Ellie Dablow and Ella Higbie were running fast in the 800 meter run placing 7th and 4th. Janee Powell and Sophia Corley both won the high jump tying at 4feet 2inches. Kaylah Thompson and Jariah Griggs both placed in the discus and shot put. Isabella Stephenson and Jaelynn Huggins were running fast and scoring points in relays and 400 meter dash. Ayanna Starks was very impressive winning the long jump, placing 2nd in the 100 meter dash and scoring points in the relays. As coaches we harp on doing your best and competing every time out. The girls did an OUTSTANDING job of this last night. Again, through hard work, running as a TEAM, and Being the hammer and NOT the nail your Scribner Girls Track Team are Clark/Floyd Champs!!! The boys track team ran last night in the Clark/Floyd Championship. Leading the boys team was Andrew Crowdus winning the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Carter Lord, Oliver Profitt, Jamal Chambers, Will Spurgeon all were running and throwing to help the team score points. Amari Forrest, Jaylen Wells-Henderson ran very well in the hurdles. Seth Goodman, Donavan Taylor, Jackson Baker, and Henry Meyer were competing at their best to help the team. All the boys ran very good and represented Scribner in a very positive way. Next Week

 Next week, let’s celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month/Day by adding a spirit week next week.

We are wearing our super hero shirts on Friday.

Monday, you can wear your PJs to show us how you can relax and release stress through relaxation.

Tuesday–find a friend to dress as a twin.  Having a friend to talk and share life with makes life so much better.


School House Rock opens this Friday at 7:00 and will run through the weekend at 2:00 and & 7:00 on Saturday and again at 2:00 on Sunday.  Tickets will be available at the door for $10/adult and $7/students.  We hope to see you there!

 Awards Day

 ATTENTION 8TH-GRADERS: You must submit pictures for the video by tomorrow.  Please read the email from Ms. London with instructions on how to submit them using the Google Form. If your pictures are not submitted before the deadline, you will not be included.
