 Student Spotlight

 7th grader Kadence Hardesty. Kadence Hardesty proves daily that you can push yourself to do your best each period. She works hard in and out of the classroom. She always uses her manner and shows respect to others. You can always count on Kadence – you are a true Scribner Panther. You have been a great example to your peers and we appreciate you.

 

7th grader Taylor Clemons. Taylor can be counted on to be one of the first students to begin working on the activity of the day. She has shown incredible self-discipline and always completes her work in a timely manner.

Golf

 Congratulations to the golf team that beat South Central and Hazelwood yesterday.

Top medalists for the men-Benton Hamilton with a blistering 39, followed by Aidan Matheny, Luke Minich and Edan Hunt.

Top medalist for the ladies- Kaidyn Wardlaw and Sienna Dietrich with a 45 followed by Abby Reavis and Emma Reavis

Great job by all!

 Track

 Attention Please: Your Scribner girls track team has a special announcement. Last Thursday night a record was set for the team. LaNijah Rodgers set the 100 meter dash school record running a 12.56 seconds. A GREAT accomplishment seeing Scribner Middle School has been open for 59 years. LaNijah has worked extremely hard to accomplish this. GREAT JOB LaNijah!!!!!!

 

The Scribner girls track team remained undefeated last night beating River Valley and New Washington. The 4 by 100 relay team of LaNijah Rodgers, Sarah Minton, Izabella Stephenson, and Ayanna Starks was first place for the third meet in a row. London Sturgeon, Kadence Hardesty, Sophia Corley, Jaelynn Huggins, and Ella Higbie all ran very well. The boys team ran well and had some great times. Sam Seigel, Bryan Ramirez, Will Spurgeon, Clayton Hoffman, Seth Winslow, Jy Eley, Mason Hilkey, and Clayton Durbin all competed to the best of their abilities. Practice today after school. Great Job representing the Panthers!

 Any student who needs to take the math practice test, report to the cafeteria after the announcements.

 Students please make sure your cell phone and/or smart watch is in your book bag during testing. If you do not have a bag to put it in, please put your phone in your classroom designated area until testing is complete for today. This is a state rule that we all must follow.
