The Scribner track and field teams were in action last Thursday night. They both ran their best, but finished fourth. Leading the way were: Leigha Trusty, Steph Muguerica, Cia Johnson, Patricia Bouillion, Ellie Dablow, Ella Higbie, Sarah Minton and Ayanna Starks. The boys team was led by Dane Caldwell, Gabe Whalen, Aaron and Aidan Lord, Amarie DeJesus, Emmanuel Frederick, Ben Jacobs, and Nick Farris. We have a 5 way meet tonight, so all of the runners may NOT participate. Report to the gym after school to find out if you are running or not.
The 7th grade would like to welcome back Mrs. Orr to Scribner from maternity leave. We have missed you.
The winners of the Walk for Washington are as follows:
Marin Higbie, 4 miles—16 laps
Landon Gum, 3.5 miles—14 laps
Cheyenne Middleton—3 miles—12 laps
Allison Moore—3 miles—12 laps
A huge thank you to DJ Lil’ Samsel for the great tunes. Also, thanks to Gage Schmidt, Abby Holder and Marin Higbie for helping get things set up. Mrs. Samsel has the rewards in her office. Please stop by after period 2 to pick up for lunch.
8th graders interested in playing for NAHS will practice at NA tonight 4:30-6:30.
Tryouts for Junior Bulldolls Dance Team will be April 19th from 5-7 and April 20th at 9 am.
The office has flyers for a couple of new upcoming activites – Pollinator Day and a Sheriffs’ Association Youth Leadership Camp. Stop by and pick one up!!
