1. The Scribner Girls tennis team defeated East Washington 3-2. Winning for Scribner was: Claire Meyer, Lily Meyer, Maci Crone, Alaina Hutchins, Hayley Goldman, Addi Vaughn and Ellie Scharlow. Great job ladies!
2. (Please announce for morning and afternoon announcements) There will be no tennis practice today. Tennis practice will resume on Monday.
Congratulations to the team that played Hazelwood and Highland Hills last night. Low medalist was Laken Tetley, followed by Libby Bogdon, Abby Reavis and Rhys Krueger.
7th and 8th Grade Dance
The 7th and 8th grade Scribner Safari Dance will be tonight from 6-8:30 p.m. Any eligible student is welcome for a night of dancing, fun, food, karaoke, and unlimited photobooth pictures. The cost is $5 to enter and includes a drink, pizza, and the photobooth. Wear your best safari, jungle, or animal print clothes. You cannot attend if you’ve had 1 or more OSS or 2 or more ISS since January 1.
8th graders interested in playing for NAHS will practice at NA tomorrow 9-11 am and Monday 4:30-6:30.
Tryouts for Junior Bulldolls Dance Team will be April 19th from 5-7 and April 20th at 9 am.
April Staff Person of the Month
Welcome back from break! Only two months of school left, so let’s show the SMS Staff how extraordinary you feel they are. Please nominate a staff member you feel goes above and beyond to show exemplary behavior to SMS. Nomination forms can be found outside of the glass enclosure at the front of school and in the office. Please return forms to the office by April 28th.
