Congratulations to the Scribner swim team that beat Jeff last night 393-194. And beat Corydon 347-217. Winning for Scribner were: Kate Elliot, Macy Jacobs, Jona Carper, Abigail Holder, Kaleb Kruer, Alex Carlyle, Emery Jackson, Madeline DeMotte,,Lanie Scharlow, Colin Kruer Preslava Nedekneva, Lauren Lopp and Eli Jackson

Charlie Brown rehearsal today is just for the principles, and will end at 5:00.
Attention all students participating in the Talent Show: Any 7th or 8th grader in the Talent Show should come see Ms. London TODAY during Core+ 5th period to receive information about next week’s rehearsal. Any 5th or 6th grader in the Talent Show should come see Ms. London at the very beginning of Core+ at 3:10. Both meetings will be in Ms. London’s room—room 402—across from the pool.
Recently, Aaron and Aidan Lord were chosen to represent Scribner at a Junior Achievement event. They will be speaking tonight at the JA annual event which will be held at the brand new Omni hotel in Louisville. They will speak in front of about 800 people. They have worked hard to prepare for this. If you see them today, please wish them well. They will be talking about their experiences from Finance Park. Good luck guys! We know you will make us proud!
Track, Track, Track, The Scribner Panther track team will begin practice on Monday, March 12 after school until 5:30pm. Any boy or girl – 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, with passing grades is allowed to come out for the team. All students must have a physical on file to be on the team. So, if you think you are fast, stop talking about it and come out and show somebody. Track practice will begin Monday after school in the gym. Coach Stout
There will be no girl’s tennis today due to weather. Practice will resume on Friday after school.
There is a fishing team that any middle schooler can be involved with. If interested please pick up an informational flyer and attend a meeting at Highland Hills on March 8 @ 6:30 in the cafeteria.
Are you interested in working behind the scenes for the Spring Musical? Mr. Schuler will hold a short meeting at 4:00 on Monday, March 12. If you are interested in moving set, or perhaps working lights and sound, you should attend this important meeting.
