The 8th grade boys took the victory last Thursday against Charlestown.  The panthers started hot, jumping out to a 16-5 lead with the help of Jeremy Rose and Landon Gum.  The pirates warmed up in the second.  Panthers lead 25-18 at half.  The second half was all about defense.  Jakereun Sparks shut down their main gun, holding the team to only 11 second half points.  Panthers came out on top 48-29.  Leading scorers: Landon Gum 14, Jeremy Rose 12.  Next game Tuesday at Silver Creek.  Practice after school today till 5.

The 7th Grade Boys Basketball team ended their season last Thursday when they were defeated by Charlestown. The Pirates made 5 first half threes which proved to be too much for the Panthers to climb back from. Top scorers for the Panthers were Kadin Bush with 10 and Cooper Anderson with 14. Good effort all season boys!
