7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball

The eight grade boys’ basketball team took their first win of the season last night, beating south central 70-22. Jay’raylon Johnson got the scoring starting with ten points in the first quarter. Kaden Stanton and James Poindexter took over in the second quarter scoring 7 and 6. Jayden Thompson worked hard defensively and blocking out. In the third quarter the Panthers had a suffocating defense, only allowing one point. Malik Peters added 8, of his game high 13 points in the fourth quarter. Great all round game. Next game is Monday against Highland Hills.

Intramurals

Yesterday at intramurals was the battle of wits. The king of the double jump. After seven rounds of checkers three people stood on top with six wins. Ty O’Neal, Collin Thurston and Ben Siegel. Tied for second with five wins were: Quinn, Gabe, and Chase.

The next event will be our snowball challenge. Keep listening for details.
