7/8/ Girls Basketball

The 7th and 8th grade girls opened their basketball season against Hazelwood on Monday. The 7th grade came from behind to win, holding Hazelwood to only 2 points in the second half. Alaina Walker led scoring with 11 points, Ava Brewer had an outstanding performance at point guard, and Avery Carroll and Leigha Trusty combined for great defense and hustle. The 8th grade lost a hard fought game, but Daisha Morris gave a great performance with some awesome drives to the basket. Practice will be today after school until 5:30.
