November 4, 2019
The Give2Give holiday food drive kicks off TODAY, sponsored by your Student Council! We are collecting food baskets for Thanksgiving and the winter holidays to send home with Scribner families in need. We are asking that each 1st period class and each 5th grade block 1 class collects enough items to make complete baskets to send home. These baskets include items like mac and cheese, gravy, dessert options, fruits and veggies, and more. The contest will run until November 22, so start organizing your classroom collections now! The class that collects the most COMPLETED baskets by the 22nd will get a pizza party sponsored by the Student Council in December.

A special “shout out” goes to the office staff who really hit the Red Ribbon theme out of the park with their door. Make sure you stop by the commons to check out the pictures.
Way to go!
Treats will be delivered to the winning classrooms on Monday.
A special thanks goes out to Mrs. Hamlin, Mrs. London and the SMS Student Council for all of their help throughout Red Ribbon Week.
We appreciate you and the service you give to our students.
Our Place contacted our school to announce that Scribner had two winners in the county-wide poster contest.
We will receive names later in the week, but one winner came from Mr. Noble’s CORE and the other from Mr. Thrasher’s CORE.
Congratulations! Winners will be announced soon.
