Twenty-First Century Scholars is an Indiana program established to increase the number of students entering college and other institutions of higher learning, the number of students who are prepared to enter the workforce upon graduation, and increase individual economic productivity. How does this program affect your child? If eligible, your child can receive free tuition to most any Indiana institution of higher learning!
21st Century Scholars is a need-based program. In addition, throughout high school, your child must fulfill the scholarship pledge and attend college within two years of graduating from high school. In turn, your child will receive up to four years of college tuition and fees to attend an eligible Indiana public university or college, an Indiana private university or college or an Indiana proprietary institution. This is money that does not have to be paid back! The program also provides support so that you, your child, and your school can work together to help your child be successful as he continues his education.
The coordinators of the Twenty-First Century Scholars Program have the responsibility to enroll as many eligible 7th and 8th grade Indiana students as possible. Please note that students cannot apply for Twenty-First Century Scholar grants at any time after the 8th grade year. To complete your application online today please visit www.scholars.in.gov.
