Girls Soccer

New Albany Girls’ Middle Soccer came away with a strong win last night against Providence. Great passing by all of the girls and strong effort by keeper, Brittany Welp. 8th grader, Taylor Treat, scored her second hat trick of the season with three strong shots resulting in a 3-0 finish. The team will be back in action again on Friday night at Silver Street Park against Corydon.

Panther Soccer Club

Correction to our announcement yesterday about Monday night’s game.  The final score of the JV game was 6-3.  Scoring the extra goal was Cole Montgomery. We apologize for the oversight!

The 5th/6th grade volleyball teams will travel to Silver Creek tonight. Players may either report to Coach Knight’s room or return to Scribner by 4:45. Good luck Lady Panthers.

A reminder that tonight’s football game vs Highland Hills has been moved to the Floyd Central high school field, game time has been pushed back 15-30 minutes…nothing changes for the players schedule, pre-game meal is still right after school. Go Panthers!

The 2017 PANTHER WALK OUT will be held on Wed., 9/27 for 5th-6th graders and Thurs., 9/28 for 7th-8th graders.  ALL students will walk out this year and receive an ice pop. Donations to receive prizes may be made on line. Prizes include bags of chips, treats in the Panther Lounge, limited edition Walk Out shirts, and take out lunch with up to 6 friends! Thank you for supporting our PTO!  https://donorbox.org/2017pantherwalkout

Student Council/Help for Harvey

The Student Council is continuing our “Help 4 Houston” hurricane relief fundraiser through today! For as little as $1, you enter yourself for a chance to pie one of our Scribner staff members in the face! For every $20 that a staff member’s jar receives, a student will be drawn to pie him or her. The more you bring in, the more chances you’ve got! Lastly, we have one exciting addition to our list of staff members participating. Mr. Stackhouse is not only in the running for a pie in the face, but he said that if his jar earns more than $200 in donations, he will finally cut his hair! So, all you Stackhouse fans need to step up your donation game!
